A continuation of IPK104, this course introduces the students to new structures of composition and pursues training through performance of the concepts that were introduced in IPK104. 

  

Objectives

The aim of this course is to further improve the student's:

- predictive capacity in following rhythmic patterns

- control over tempo and recitation

- compositional skills and spontaneity

The course will also introduce the new concept of "Chaapu Thaalams".

  

The ability to compose/knowledge of:

- Theermanams in different placements and nadais

- Korvais

- anticipate (to a basic extent) the rhythmic patterns while listening
